The iOS simulator functionality is contained within the Xcode developer tools however, no coding within the Xcode. The ultimate goal is to make this calculator available as an iPhone /touch application. While developing for iOS, the simulator is a great resource. With Simulator you can test any Apple device. iOS simulators are available only on macOS. It is based on the source code written by Greg Ewing. It looks like there are some simulators missing - our snapshot tests currently require an iPhone 12 simulator and when I ran our Xcode 14 compatibility branch build yesterday it was working fine - for some reason the iPhone 12 simulator is missing from the RC image even though it is listed in the manifest. This is an HP-41CV simulator for MAC OS X. ![]()
